[Hub explainer]

What is the hub?

The hub at kabirv.ca/hub is a personal workspace — a stitched-together collection of small internal tools, dashboards, and write-ups that don't belong on the public site but are too useful to lose in a private repo.

It's where the parts of my work that benefit from being online (but not from being indexed) live. Think: vault notes I want shareable links for, project status pages, the publishing pipeline for the Obsidian plugin, drafts that aren't ready, and one-off utilities I built for myself.

[What's in there]

What lives in the hub?

Notes & writing

Shareable Obsidian vault notes (the public ones) with their own URLs; long-form drafts before they hit the main site.

Project dashboards

Status pages for ongoing builds — what's shipping, what's stuck, what's parked. Mostly for me, but interesting to share.

Internal tools

Small utilities that don't justify their own domain: caption-editing for the polaroid pile, the publishing pipeline UI, etc.

Experimental pages

Things I'm trying out before deciding if they belong on the public site.

[Getting in]

How to get access

The hub is gated — public links live on the main site, anything behind /hub needs an account.

  • If you know me personally and want a look, drop me a note via the form on the home page (or email — see the socials at the bottom) and I'll provision you.
  • Recruiters / collaborators: lead with what you're after; if it's something I'd normally send a Loom or PDF for, the hub probably has a better version.
  • Long-time readers: there's a thing or two in here that's an extension of the public posts; ask and I'll send a direct link.

I'm not running a waitlist. Access is informal — ask, get in, leave whenever.
